BARRY NICHOLS: Director/ Producer/ Cinematographer
Barry Nichols is renowned for his camera, producing and directing skills on location when quick decisions need to be made. His beautiful images are always of service to the subject, which is paramount to his storytelling philosophy. Barry is one of Australia’s foremost cinematographers, having worked on a diverse slate of network programs, documentaries, dramas and commercials. Barry has worked on numerous documentary series for ABC, SBS and other international networks. He has a competent and professional approach to his work, which combined with his easy-going nature, is the reason why he has a long list of screen credits and regular projects. Barry started collaborating with producer/director Ana Tiwary in 2013 and as a team they have produced hundreds of corporate videos, documentaries and web-videos.
ANA TIWARY: Producer/Director
Ana Tiwary is a producer/director based in Sydney and has been selected by Screen Producers Australia as one of the 'Ones to Watch' producers in 2015/16. Ana collaborates with Barry Nichols on various documentaries, corporate and web-videos. In the past five years Ana has worked on over 22 documentaries for ABC such as ‘reCREATE’, ‘Dancing@100’, ‘Sacred Animals’ and 'God in Games'. She holds a Masters in Film from the American University in Washington DC and awarded a Gold Medal for her Bachelors Degree in Film & Video. From Bollywood films to working at National Geographic Channel, Ana’s career has taken her to many interesting locations around the world. She works on contemporary themes and her style of presenting stories is visual, compelling, entertaining and authentic. With a good understanding of diverse audiences, Ana has worked on various multicultural and indigenous projects and is passionate about the art and craft of storytelling.
